Garaventa Lift Opal

Unenclosed vertical wheelchair lift The Opal vertical platform lift is designed to help wheelchair users travel safely and securely up to three metres. It’s suitable for both homes and public buildings and can be installed directly onto the floor. The lift is easy to install and even easier to use, with simple ‘hold-to-run’ buttons and built-in safety features for peace of mind.

Easy access

Choose an access ramp for easy entry with a floor-mounted Opal or opt for a pit-mounted installation to lower the lift, so the platform sits level with the floor.

Custom configurations

The Opal can be set up to suit your space, with gates that open straight through (180°) or to the side (90°), depending on the layout of your home or building.

Safety features

An internal handrail and anti-slip surface come as standard to enhance safety during travel. A key switch is included to prevent unauthorised use, and a sensing plate is fitted to stop the lift if it detects an obstacle.

Available options

Over 2,000 customised colours, transparent or tinted panels in plexiglass, fixed or auto folding ramps, wall mounted call stations and powered door openers are all available on the Opal.
