Garaventa Lift Opal
Unenclosed vertical wheelchair lift
The Opal vertical platform lift is designed to help wheelchair users travel safely and securely up to three metres. It’s suitable for both homes and public buildings and can be installed directly onto the floor.
The lift is easy to install and even easier to use, with simple ‘hold-to-run’ buttons and built-in safety features for peace of mind.
Space-saving, unobtrusive design
The space-saving design behind the Artira means the drive system is not built into the platform and can be discreetly installed on the staircase or on the wall at the top or bottom of the stairs.
Suitable for indoor and outdoor use
In moderate climates, the Artira inclined platform lift can be installed outdoors. The outdoor package includes corrosion resistant components such as stainless-steel travel rails and zinc coated parts, along with a protective cover for the lift.
Built-in safety features
The Artira lift is equipped with sensors that stop the platform automatically if an obstruction is detected during travel. An overspeed governor ensures the lift maintains a safe, controlled speed when travelling down the stairs.
Limit switches ensure the lift stops precisely at each landing, while the non‑slip platform, safety flaps at the sides and protective safety arms help keep the user secure throughout the journey.
Available options
The Artira platform lift is available in six standard sizes, with custom sizes and colours available. The platform, ramps, and safety arms fold away when not in use, and an optional folding seat can be added.
