Straight stairlifts
Straight stairlift tracks can only travel in straight lines, they cannot turn a corner or go around a bend. Straight lifts are suitable for use where a stairlift only needs to travel in one straight line; without any interruptions from landings or platforms, turns or curved steps.
Handicare offers three straight stairlift systems that can be combined with a choice of seats to give you a system that is tailored to your needs and budget. Straight options are often quick and easy stairlifts to install due to their simple, straight nature. See all straight stairlift options here.
Curved stairlifts
Curved stairlifts have tracks that are specifically designed to suit staircases that have at least one bend, intermediate landings or are spiral.
Handicare offers two curved track systems: one with one rail, the other with two. Both offer a choice of seats and are made to order following a survey of each individual staircase. Both can accommodate a wide range of staircase configurations whilst providing a safe and smooth ride for you too. Handicare offers industry leading manufacturing times on made to measure curved lifts and our partners use our photographic survey system to ensure the best fit possible. See all curved stairlift options here.
Outdoor stairlift options
Thinking of buying a stairlift indoors? Then it might be worth considering an outdoor lift too. Straight and curved weatherproofed system for outdoor steps.
With a simple press of a button, you can dial your emergency contacts directly from your stairlift through the new Savaria One Touch Alert. A discreet yet invaluable feature that utilises two-way communication. The system connects you with assistance swiftly and reliably, if required.
