Now available: The Easy Hinge for the Handicare 1100

After the introduction of the Zero Intrusion and Slide Track option for the Handicare 1100 in August this year, it is now time to introduce the Easy Hinge. With this option you can fold the track away from the doorway giving clear access.

Easy Hinge: to lift the rail up out of the way of any doorways

Our Easy Hinge allows for the bottom portion of the rail to be lifted up out of the way of any doorways or passageways when the stairlift is not in use. It works with the assistance of a gas strut, meaning that operation is as easy as possible.

Three new options introduced

In the Summer of 2020, we have now introduced three new options to satisfy user experience with our newest straight stairlift the Handicare 1100. You can now choose between:

Zero intrusion: (For basement stairs) where stairs finish at the door.
Slide Track: For hallways having doorways at the top and bottom of the stairs.
Easy Hinge: To fold the track away at the bottom of the stairs.
